Here is a quick update as Malibu, California joins forces with Oxnard, California since February 15th article. On April 9th – the California State Lands Commission hearing will take place in Oxnard, California. After the hearing is closed, then the California State Lands Commission will vote the same day. The public is encouraged to participate to deny the terminal–April 9th meeting will take place at the Oxnard Performing Arts Center, 800 Hobson Way in Oxnard, California.
On April 12th, the California Coastal Commission will conduct a hearing in Santa Barbara, California. The main purpose is to evaluate whether the proposed terminal is in compliance with the California Coastal Zone Management plans. After the hearing is closed, the California Coastal Commission will take a vote the same day. It is important for the public to participate at this meeting which will take place at Fess Parker’s Resort, 633 E. Cabrillo Street in Santa Barbara, California.
