Today I viewed the "Wave Sculpture" house designed and built by Jay Vanos.  Located in the prestigious Serra Retreat gated community, this home can truly boast it has one of the best ocean views in the heart of Malibu, California.

Vanos has uniquely captured the outdoor/indoor feel with windows that disappear in the corners — all I can say was "how did he do that?"

When I saw the Malibu Pier and the Surfrider Beach and the Coastal view — it was absolutely breathtaking! [and I do not exaggerate!].  Vanos has thought of everything — the floor plan flows so well — the kitchen is one of the best I’ve seen including a breakfast nook and a formal dining room.  The Master bedroom has a sitting retreat area inside And another fireplace on the outside for a conversation area with ocean views.

It is a smart house that also plans for a theater room, a discotheque [yes, a real one for dance fever], a children’s play area and a separate gym.  It also has a pool with a waterfall, a spa, a separate guest house and walkways along the 1.13 acre property.
