Topanga State Park is nestled between Pacific Palisades and the community of Topanga – east of Malibu and offers 36 miles of hiking trails and breathtaking views of the Pacific Coastline and the Santa Monica Mountains. The park offers a great getaway from the city and the small community that is Topanga has always been popular with people who want to relocate to the area with its small population of just over 5000 residents.
The state park is accessible via the Pacific Coast Highway through Topanga itself, the first stop has to be ‘Trippet’s Ranch’ where most of the hiking trails can be accessed. The park covers 11,000 acres of stunning terrain, which makes it the largest wilderness within city limits! A great getaway for the casual hiker who wants to take advantage of the great outdoors in Southern California’s gorgeous Mediterranean climate.
