Mountain Restoration Trust: located just outside Malibu

The Mountain Restoration Trust is located just outside Malibu, nestled amongst the Santa Monica Mountains and is the largest non-government landowner in these mountains.

The Trust acquires, protects and preserves land for future generations and as time has gone on seeks to educate people on helping preserve this important habitat and ecosystem from development and destruction.

The trust owns more than 1500 acres and recognises that pressure on the land is increasing. Its head quarters are an energy efficient building on 12 acres in the mountain north east of Malibu.
