The Malibu Celebration of Film celebrated in style!

Malibu is definitely linked in with Hollywood Stars, but the Celebration of Film is a great opportunity for like minded individuals to come together and showcase their offerings alongside new young filmmakers to show off their work.

There were 11 feature length and short films screened, which is down from last years 30, every film shown at the three day even had won an award elsewhere in the world so the competition was tough!

The festival has a competition for young film makers called FILM’SCOOL which has tiered age bands and was won by High School student Kellen Moore.

The ambience of the festival was one of pleasure and enjoyment as these passionate film critics and film makers came together at viewed each others work.

Whilst being a young festival - this was its second year, it is hoped that its success will continue in the coming years!
