The famous star is back after only selling her Malibu home in the summer

After selling her palatial Malibu home for $10 million in August Britney Spears is back in the city looking at more real estate, however this time Britney is trying before buying!

The superstar who has caused much controversy of late in the press is leasing a 7 bedroom, 8,500 square feet mansion on 5 acres in a canyon for six months before being given the option to buy the property - which is rumored to have an asking price of about $9 million.

The french inspired architecture was constructed in 1942 has just recently been remodeled and has a fabulous great room with accompanying fireplace as well as a master bedroom with two bathrooms!
