Median House Price Now Above $3 Million

With all the doom and gloom in the media at the moment it is interesting to note these statistics for Malibu home sales!

Nationally, the market may be weak, but in Malibu, the buyers market is well and truly an opportunity not to be missed.

With the prices of high end homes having increased 20% over the last year - the luxury market is moving full steam ahead! With 19 Homes having sold for more than $10million.

Additionally, of the 152 homes sold this year in the area, it is interesting to note that the average sold price is now just over $3 million - an increase over last years $2.85million.

The lower end of the market movement is not as quick. However properties are selling as people are looking to take advantage of market conditions.
