Infamous Malibu-beach lover Matthew McConaughey is putting down roots in Malibu with the puchase of a $10 million home.

The star is known for his love of Airstream trailers is now putting his money into Malibu real estate.

His new 3,500 square foot home is on a little over an acre and was constructed in 1949. He purchased it for a cool $10 million and whilst not the largest property in Malibu it certainly will make a great base for him when he is not at the beach.
