Malibu Residents & Visitors are eagerly awaiting the re-opening of this great community facility

Many are anxiously awaiting the reopening of the Las Flores Creek Park where picnikers have enjoyed the surroundings for years! The revampt park is scheduled to reopen in March giving users improved facilities such as new rest rooms, play areas and picnic tables.

The walking trails boast improved signage - tip: These make a great afternoon out for the kids during the holidays! - and the whole park has had a $3.8 million facelift!

The park is a quarter mile up Las Flores Canyon Road off of the Pacific Coast Highway and gives users that great "tucked away" feel.

When this section of the park opens in a few weeks this will mean completion of phase one of the redevelopment project. Phase two will of course then get underway!

The whole redevelopment and improvements to the Park are designed to make the facility more environmentally friendly and improve its attractiveness to the local wildlife.

Once open, this will make a great afternoon for the family to spend together in the great outdoors - yet close to home!
