Septic Ordinance Passed By City Has Support From Local Realtors

Long debated, it appears that the city of Malibu have finally passed the city ordinance that will require that septic tank inspections prior to a property’s sale.

There has been some revisions to the proposal from its initial offering and now there are provisions for permits which are valid for a set period of time as well as a less lengthly process to obtain in inspection.

Local Realtors have been in general in support of the requirement and have worked with City officials to ensure that the regulation fits in harmony with the buying/selling process as it stands.
