$68 million Purchase on Carbon Beach Did Not Occur!

The sale of Nancy Daly’s Beach Mansion as reported on February 12th on this blog did not occur despite many new sources reporting the sale.

As mentioned in our previous blog post the Carbon Beach mansion which has 180 feet of beachfront was originally rumoured at $50 million actually ended up being rumoured sold for a new Malibu record of $68 million. - All untrue!

The most expensive sale to date in Malibu is $33-35 million. This sale was of the bluffs estate formerly owned by Johnny Carson and its true price is still not clear!

What is for sure is that Nancy Daly’s home has not been sold and that the media hype ensured that early rumours of it being up for sale quickly progressed to rumours of a closed deal! With Carbon Beach nicknamed Billionaires Beach it is no wonder that the media takes such an active interest in property transactions here - particularly with the high number of Celebrities often involved!
