Trancas Park is a great facility for residents of Malibu and visitors alike to go and enjoy and spend some time watching or playing sports!
The Park has recently come under fire regarding league games being held at the facility.
Local council members voted on the 1.7 acre site holding league games as considerations needed to be made in terms of access, parking as well as traffic flow. Opposition came as people proposed that Bluffs Park which is on a 13.5 acre site would be more appropriate due to its size and its location away from a residential area.
The facility is part of a redevelopment of many of the local Malibu parks in the vicinity.
