The exciting new development at the site of the old Malibu Lumber Yard is finally starting to come together leaving many residents excited about the prospect of more high end retailing space.
The New "Malibu Lumber Mall" will lease to many high end stores as well as four local companies who will pay a reduced rate of rent.
The business model is centered around "doing the right thing" for locals who will be able to rent at a fraction of the price of others. This development is part of the general revamping of retail space in Malibu. High end occupants who are leasing include the clothing shops Theory, J. Crew, Intermix, Alice + Olivia, James Perse and the high-end shoe store, Tory Burch.
The 30,000 square feet 15 unit development is scheduled to open to customers on November 1st.
