Well, the new year is nearly here! What does that mean? Well, for many a chance to have a party and celebrate the successes that 2008 has brought us and commiserate the failures!
New Years eve is a great chance to look back and review the year. The Malibu Times produces a great review of the stories that effected Malibu during the year in a month by month summary – from the rocky road to recovery for 2007 wild fire victims through to the historic presidential election in November!
Also, welcoming in 2009 brings with it a string of new state and local laws. From Traffic Tickets which will be increasing their fines in the new year through to more assistance for veterans and their families and solar power regulations! Read more with the Malibu Times here.
