You are forgiven if you do not know who Annette and Stan Cook are of Barefoot Dreams.

These guys formed a company back in 1994 which sells, what can only be called a “sensational” line of products from what started out as a home/garage based business. Now their products have been featured on and by Oprah, Tyra Banks and Ellen to name just a few!

Their line of what they call “Cozychic” products is very popular amongst celebrities.

So, now they have both just sold their Malibu home for a cool $3 million.

Producer Marc E. Platt has purchased a stunning beachfront property in Malibu.

The infamous producer of such productions as the films “Rachel Getting Married” and “Legally Blonde” and the Broadway musical “Wicked” has purchased a 4,600-square-foot Cape Cod on the Pacific Coast in Malibu.

The property at 31368 Broad Beach Road was originally constructed in 1964 and contains four bedrooms, three bathrooms and a separate one-bedroom guest wing. The home was originally purchased back in 2005 for $7 million by Robert Feinberg founder of a test-preparation provider. The property features a wide unobstructed view of the Pacific as well as great outdoor space.

Malibu Celebrity Real Estate: Cher Re-Lists and Revamps Her Malibu Mansion

You may recall that some time ago we wrote about the breaking news of Cher listing her HUGE Malibu property for sale. Well since then there has been some changes…

The superstar has decided to do some updates to her home as well as reduce the price. The home was listed at $45 million in August 2008, but withdrew it in early May 2009 while the work was going on, according to her listing agent. The home has allegedly had new interiors and the price is now down to $41 million.

The home was constructed in 1999 in the Italian Renaissance style and contains seven bedrooms, nine bathrooms, a theater and gym in a sprawling 13,126 square feet. The property sits on a generous 1.7 acres with its own tennis court, infinity pool and guesthouse.

Malibu Celebrity Real Estate: Barry Manilow Lists Malibu Beach Front Home

World famous celebrity Barry Manilow is rumored to have listed his Malibu beach from home.

The four-bedroom, 3.5 bath, 3,456 square foot home is a blocky tastefully decorated contemporary with a matching one-bedroom guest house on the oceanfront with stunning beach views and of course access to the sand!

The home has a two story living room with big glass windows to exploit the view. The home has already had a price cut from $12.6 million to $10.9 million but Manilow paid $3.85 million in 2002. However the location could not get any better on Malibu Road right on the Pacific Ocean!

The home and the guest house are separated by a flagstone courtyard. The main house includes a media room, at least one office (another bedroom seems to be serving as an office as well) and a master suite with a fireplace and a bathroom that includes a spa tub set right against the window for a soak with a sunset view.

Leonard DiCaprio owns three homes in Malibu and recently (November 2008) has put one of his properties at 32628 Pacific Coast Highway up for sale at $8,999,000 in the hope of flipping this property which he purchased for only $6,350,000.

However he now has reduced the price of this Encinal Bluffs home to a bargain $7,999,000. However, while waiting for it to sell the famed Titanic actor has put the property up for lease at a monthly rate of only $25,000. This is great value for a 2374 square foot private property with stunning Pacific Ocean views.

The home is divided into a two bedroom two bathroom main house and two one bedroom guest suites. There is also a four car garage, hot tub overlooking the ocean and a set of steps down to the private cove below!

The property can be let short term of $50,000 per month according to the MLS.
